This year, we celebrate Earth Day in different way. We build Eco wall from plastic and get close to know more the bee which is the important pollinator in the eco system. 

 ZENXIN ECO-WALL

ZENXIN Eco-Wall projects is an initiative taken by Zenxin in repurposing non-recyclable plastic bags. We collect non-recyclable plastic bag from our production and 1.5litre plastic bottle from public area and housing area. Then, we repurpose it into eco bricks to make Eco-Wall for our nature classroom.  

Step 1: Fill up the 1.5 litre bottle with plastic bag with a stick and make sure maximum space is used.

Step 2: Weigh the eco-Bricks (make sure it is 400g/each).

Step 3: Build the frame for eco-wall by using solid structure like wood and metal. 

Step 4: Start to build Eco-wall when we have enough eco bricks. Mud is used in between to hold the bricks from falling apart.

 BEE KEEPER PROJECT

Bee keeper project is a launch in order to protect one of the endangered species which is bees.  Why do we need to protect bees?  Bees are keystone species, which other species dependent on them to survive through pollination. 70% fruits on market will disappear if they lost their pollinator. There will be no more coffee, nuts, berries and fruits if bee extinct. Join us and learn how to be a bee keeper and know more about bee friendly garden.

今年让我们以不一样的方式庆祝地球日。我们一起来用塑料制作环保墙，近身大自然认识我们重要的传粉勇士–蜜蜂。

 

【诚兴环保墙】制作

【诚兴环保墙】计划尝试重新定义一次性塑料袋子的用途。我们从诚兴的生产部门收集塑料袋和1.5公升的宝特瓶，利用环境友善的方法，让塑料瓶成为砖块，在我们的快乐农场里搭建我们的自然教室。

步骤1：利用木杆将一次性塑料袋往1.5公升宝特瓶内填塞制作成环保砖，确保达到压缩量。

步骤2：测量环保砖的重量为400公克。

步骤3：使用坚固的材料（如：木材和金属）为环保墙搭建框架。

步骤4：准备足够环保砖块后，我们就可开利用泥土的粘性将环保砖块固定，搭建环保墙了！

 【牧蜂人计划】

牧蜂人计划是为了保护其中一种收到威胁的动物—蜜蜂。为什么我们要把蜜蜂？蜜蜂是生态链中重要的动物，其他物种仰赖它进行花粉传播。如果蜜蜂消失，市面上70%水果将间接因此而消失，我们再也无法享用到美味的咖啡、坚果、莓果和水果。和我们一起学习如何成为牧蜂人，并且了解什么是蜜蜂友善的园地。
